For the Android Closed Testing Service

Last Updated: November 20, 2025

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Android Is Fun ("We", "Us", "Our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our Android Closed Testing Service ("the Service") provided to our clients ("Clients"). The Service is designed to collect data for the sole purpose of identifying bugs, assessing performance, and improving the quality of the Client's pre-release mobile application ("the App").

By participating in the closed testing, both Clients and Testers agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Collected from Clients

To manage the testing engagement, we collect the following from our Clients:

  • **Client Contact Details:** Name, email address, and company name.
  • **Tester Identification:** A list of email addresses (Google accounts) provided by the Client to grant access to the Closed Beta track on Google Play Console.

2.2 Information Collected from Testers

When a Tester uses the App under test, the Service collects information strictly necessary for debugging and performance analysis:

  • **Crash and Error Logs:** Detailed technical information about application crashes, errors, and exceptions, including timestamps, stack traces, and device memory status at the time of the error.
  • **Usage and Analytics Data:** Non-personal data about how the App is used, such as screen views, session duration, interaction events (e.g., button taps), and flow completion rates.
  • **Device Information:** Device model, operating system version (Android), carrier, time zone, and unique device identifier necessary for debugging environment-specific issues.
  • **Feedback:** Any direct feedback, bug reports, or screenshots submitted by the Tester via the Service's designated feedback mechanism.

**Note:** We do not intentionally collect personal identifiers such as full names, precise geographical locations, or sensitive information from the Tester's device unless explicitly provided by the Tester in a feedback form.

3. How We Use the Information

The information collected through the Service is used exclusively for the following purposes:

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We only share or disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

5. Data Retention and Security

5.1 Data Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the integrity and security of the information collected, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5.2 Data Retention

We retain Tester data for the duration of the testing engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter (typically 90 days) to finalize reports and provide post-testing analysis. Client contact details are retained as long as required for contractual and accounting purposes. Upon Client request, or once the data is no longer necessary for the testing purpose, we will securely delete or anonymize the data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding the personal information we hold about you:

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their Testers meet all applicable age requirements.
